Free pitch deck template, built from investor screening criteria
Most pitch deck templates are design files: nice slides with nothing to say about what belongs on them. This one is the opposite. It comes from the criteria used to score real inbound decks for investors, so every slide carries two things: placeholders for what to write, and the line a screening analyst checks on that slide before your deck ever reaches a partner.

What is inside
Ten slides, in the order an investor reads them:
- Title and one liner
- Problem
- Solution
- Market
- Business model
- Traction
- Competition
- Team
- Financials
- The ask
The order and the checks mirror the full guide: how to make a pitch deck investors will actually read. The guide explains each slide with the research behind it; the template is the same knowledge shaped as a starting file.
How to use it
- Replace each placeholder with your content, in your own tool. The PDF is a structure, not a design; take the order and the checks into Figma, Slides, Keynote or PowerPoint.
- Keep one slide per point. If a slide needs two, the point is not sharp yet.
- Read the "what the screen checks" line on every slide against what you wrote. That line is the difference between a deck that survives the first two minutes and one that does not.
- When it is filled in, test it before an investor does.
